BOAL sponsor work of art Stylos Pavilion in Delft

On the occasion of the 175 year anniversary of the Faculty of Architecture of the TU Delft a group of students designed and built a work of art, called the Stylos Pavilion. The work of art is constructed of aluminum profiles that are sponsored by Boal Extrusion.

The Stylos pavilion is designed and built by a team of students who wanted to visualize the innovative gaze of the TU Delft around the theme of “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”. The pavilion is made up of multiple small elements, which combined form an impressive entity. One element symbolizes a person, an idea, an innovation, a technology or a year.

Sustainability and aluminum
In order to materialize the sustainability concept for this project, the group choose for materials which can be recycled, in particular aluminum profiles. The profiles were produced and made available free of charge by BOAL Extrusion. The work will remain in place for the anniversary period of 175 days and at the end the profiles will be taken back and recycled by BOAL.
